Information About the Converters

Our converters make your historic telephone fit for use in modern telecommunications networks.

The prerequisite is a functioning telephone!

Check whether your telephone has a dial tone without a converter!

If your telephone is “dead”, it is usually due to the wrong connection cable or the wrong assignment of the plug.

Check whether you can be called! Is the phone ringing?

If you receive a dial tone but cannot be called and the telephone does not ring, the telephone usually has a fault in the alarm system. Contact us, we can repair it in most cases.

If the test was successful!

Which converter do you need?

You should answer the following question: Which telephone should be operated on which system/router?

If it is a widely used telephone such as the W48 (replica) or a FetAp 611, then basically all converters will work - see the table below.

Experience has shown that very old telephones and rare foreign telephones may work with all converters due to many variables, but are most likely to work with the Digital Pro model, as you can set different voltages here.
